The official description from Image:

“WE ALL FALL DOWN,” Part Two Assault on the King’s Bluff Police Station as the Latimer children fight their way out against the onslaught of horrors that stalk them.

GONNERS_02So with the Latimer children’s parents dead, we see that everyone is feeling for them at the police station, however, they don’t have a lot of time to care because monsters are coming after the children. We get to see some pretty adorable flashbacks of when the kids were younger. It is a sweet moment that shows that this family is worth rooting for. Then, we get a look at the monsters themselves who are pretty terrifying and seem to only want blood. I have a feeling that there is more to them than meets the eye but for the issue at hand we only get a superficial look at them. It ends pretty well with a very clever line. It was a fun experience to read, I didn’t like it as much as the first issue but it was still pretty good.

Jacob Semahn is able to give us a chance to sympathize with the loss of the kid’s parents, which is nice. We get to see a little more about them and how they worked and loved. It was pretty cool. I do have a big issue with this issue and that is that it doesn’t really gives us enough to keep us coming back. It doesn’t reveal enough of the mystery to keep me involved which is too bad but I still thought it was an okay issue.

Jorge Corona does a great job with the drawing of the comic. It is slick and clean but has a very dirty element to it. It is pretty good.

Goners #2 isn’t as good as the first but I have hopes for the future.
