Review: Mass Effect: Foundation #6

Mass Effect 3 Banner

Oh no! What is going to happen to our lead characters when things get even more complicated? Read on to find out.

Official Description:

“Jacob and Miranda’s mission takes a deadly turn as the duo find themselves in the gun sights of a vicious batarian warlord! Mass Effect 2 and 3 lead writer Mac Walters continues the thrilling series set during the events of BioWare’s blockbuster science fiction trilogy!”

Okay, so the last time we saw our hero’s, they were trying to bring back the body of a fallen commander. However, things got a little side tract when an alternate plan was brought into place, which saw our hero’s in a trap, pretty much. Now, sometimes, I have to say that I don’t like cliffhangers, which is what was left the last time that we had an issue but, now, things are getting better and better. ThisMass-Effect-Foundation-1-00 issue takes place immediately after and it is awesome. It’s quick and action packed, something that is worth reading. Also, the big question is, will they make it out or not? I mean, that is something you will have to read yourself in order to figure it out.

The writing is spot on. I mean from the first page, you get the urgency and importance of this part of the story, something that some writers don’t have but this issue is spot on. I, personally, like some the dialogue between our two main characters, it’s witty and fun. It just works out great.

The art is great. It is very futuristic and clean. Every panel looks great. The artist really knows how to get the world to look, what the writer is trying to portray. I have to say that this artist is one of my favorite.

Overall, I give it a five out of five.
