What happens when Judge Dredd returns to his city? Read on to find out.

Official Description:

“Dredd returns to Mega-City One—still recovering from the ravages of “The Long Fail”—only to find the Justice Department under siege! Seems that someone has snuffed 12 Judges in creative and shocking ways. Someone who is intimiately familiar the routines of your average street Judge and their sector houses… Someone who Dredd himself failed to catch just a few months ago!”

Okay, so this is an issue of Judge Dredd, that I have to say was very interesting. Okay, so it starts out with Judge Dredd returning to Mega-City only to be treated like crap. I mean he seems to be the prime suspect in this crime of fallen Judges. It get real nasty. I don’tJDredd-14-pr-1-583d0 want to ruin anything but I have to say that there are some people that die and someone that gets hurt that you wouldn’t want. On the other hand, there is someone that is showing up that I didn’t think would be coming back but it appears that they are. It works and you will be pleasantly surprised.

As usual, the writing is spot on, especially with this issue. There is intrigue and mystery that really play to my “Murder She Wrote” side of  life. It really is a great issue that doesn’t hold back. I honestly felt that no one was safe from what was going, including, Dredd. I think that’s what made me really push for this issue so much is that the ability to keep things fresh really worked.

The art is always exciting and fun but this issue really had urgency in it and the artist used that to their advantage. It really worked and I actually enjoyed the art in this issue the most.

Overall, I give this issue a five out of five.
