Did that RED SKULL Spoiler get CONFIRMED?

That’s right kids a while back our own Editor-in-Chief published an article that revealed an interesting plot twist regarding the Red Skull and the forthcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.

This is still by no way or means a 100% guarantee but it doesn’t contradict it either!

In fact it lightly confirms it.

So…

POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Now that’s you’ve been warned let me refresh your memory:

…the true identity of Robert Redford’s Alexander Pierce. In the comics, after Nick Fury is deposed from his Director’s chair, Pierce feeds the super spy information from the inside of SHIELD. While that identity seems perfectly fit within the meager plot details that have leaked from the set of Winter Soldier, this blogger claims that Alexander Pierce is actually a Red Skull possessed Aleksander Lukin. You know, the Soviet Crazy Pants from volume 5 of Captain America.

And here’s what Spinoff Online is reporting now:

At Toy Fair this week in New York City, merchandise for The Winter Soldier revealed a strange addition to the lineup: a Red Skull action figure. Are Marvel and Hasbro simply offering up a familiar character to boost the toy line’s sales, or is it a signal that Steve Rogers’ No. 1 nemesis is a part of Winter Soldier after all?

Take a moment to let that sink in.

Now you can geek-out and speculate!

But remember this could very well be just a random bit of marketing or it could signal the imminent return of the one and only RED SKULL. Time will tell, after all the flick is almost here so get happy if you’re not already there!
