This obscure and interesting comic has taken my heart and really does some great things but is it right for you? Read on to find out more.

Dog, Skull, Fist, and Abe Lincoln live in a house, beat the #### out of each other, and frequently humiliate themselves. There is bleeding and sadness; Morrissey would likely approve. The cult hit comedy returns with new stories and a classic in the back. From Eisner/Harvey nominees JOSHUA HALE FIALKOV (The Bunker, I, Vampire) and KODY CHAMBERLAIN (SWEETS, The Ride).

Okay, so a quirky comic is usually right up my alley because I am totally STK653000into the strange and odd choices of comic book creators. This one was completely over the top but, also, is fantastic. If you’re into the obscure and interesting world where Lincoln and a Dog are together with Skull and Fist, then you will love this comic. The first issue is, kind of,  a jumping off point but still has this idea that you may know this comic from the previous people that took it over. We learn about our characters but then have this issue of working together. It is very great and really funny. This really  is an Adult Swim show in comic book form.

Joshua Hale Fialkov  does a great job of picking the reigns up from the top writer and going with it. He understands the comedy and the characters, which does a lot to make you fall in love with the comic.  It is witty and quick, which adds to this dynamic.

Kody Chamberlain does a great job with the art. It reminds me a lot of the Drinky Crow show in the style of the art. It is like an old school video game, where they put real people in fake situations and use that as the back drop. It is over the top and very vivid.

Punks #1 is a great jumping off point for a weirdly great comic.
