Original Sin #8 Review

What happens in the the final issue of Marvel’s newest event? Read on to find out more.

Drained of the Infinity Formula, Nick Fury is dying. Aging rapidly and uncontrollably. In his time as the “man on the wall,” he has survived protecting Earth in secret against monsters, demons and other unseen threats. Yet even he cannot escape old age. But the battle-hardened former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. will not go down without a fight! He’ll fight to his last breath to protect the Marvel Universe from what’s coming – even if it means going through the Avengers to do it!

Okay so this roller coaster has been up and down and I thought that this Original-Sin-8-Cover-8af57might end on a really good note, however, I was pretty disappointed about the last four issues especially this finally. It started kind of slow but then got more exciting and then down and the finale was good. There wasn’t some great reveal or anything like that, just some changes in the cast if anything. I just was super disappointed about the situation and the hope that it would better and it didn’t.

Jason Aaron has done some great things but this was disappointing in all the ways. There wasn’t anything that really happened. The Watcher died but then he didn’t really and then something else happens but nothing in the main story really did anything that deserved such a big name or really considered a Marvel huge event. Now the side stories were much better that focused on several relationships. It wasn’t great.

Mike Deodato is a great artists that does several things within the comic book that I admire. It is fantastic because he can draw several characters in one scene and that is a feat that is hard because they don’t blend together but brings forth each character in their own way.

Original Sin #8 was a disappointing end to a disappointing story.
