New Captain America Themed Teaser for Marvel’s “War”

We’re barely halfway through Marvel’s latest event comic Avengers vs X-Men, but the House of Ideas has already cooked up another crazy romp through their shared universe with the mysterious new title War.

Yesterday we brought you a few of their latest teaser images featuring a very burnt and crispy Wolverine, along with an image of a fractured Mjolnir (original, I know). Well, today we’ve got our rotten mits on another picture, this time with Captain America’s sacred imagery.

I’m always happy to see a crossover comic between Marvel’s plentiful characters, but this whole reliance of grand war (which owes its modern roots to House of M) is pretty damn exhausting.

How many universe shaking events can transpire over the course of one damn decade? Seriously, Marvel… sometimes less is more.
