Minimum Wage #5 Review

What is going on with Rob and the rest of his crazy life? Read on to find out more.

Alone in his new place with nothing but wisecracking radioactive horseshoe crabs, adult gigs, and his own toxic thoughts, Rob plays matchmaker and also embarks on a clandestine courtship with a saucily familiar face in the fifth chapter of BOB FINGERMAN’S so-real-it-hurts series.

Okay, so this series has had its up and down but this issue is just fantastic. I will say that there are some really cool moments. Rob has his new place with nothing MinimumWage05-Page1in its area, but Rob seem to be doing alright because he gets some action within the first couple pages but it is nothing more. The one thing that I will say is always nice, is that there are some many interesting characters, some realistic and some fake but all have that humanistic qualities that make this series great. Rob does some great growing and changing in this issue. There is also the issue of Rob playing matchmaker, which is fun and very neat to see that side of Rob because he usually is so apathetic and this shows him in a different light, which keeps the story fresh rather than getting stale.

The writing for this issue is quite fantastic. The development of the characters in this issue is very good and I really like it. It has some great moments with real people that you can relate to, as well as, some not so real ones that you can still relate to.

The art is also very good. I mean it is just very simple and precise that it works well with the story. It is just all great.

Minimum Wage #5 is a great story with relatable characters that make this series a highlight.
