Marvel Reveals Big Wedding. Who The Heck Is Going To Marry DEADPOOL?!?

Deadpool’s face looks like hamburger meat, and he has killed half the dang planet.  The dude’s dating profile lists his profession as murder, his favorite hobby as murder, his religion as murder and even his ethnicity as murder!

But somehow, this cat has found a bride!  Over the past week, Marvel has revealed teasers of their next big wedding.  Today, the final pieces of the puzzle reveal that the Merc with a Mouth is getting hitched.  It will be a bloody affair taking place in April’s Deadpool #27. What the crap.  Sadly, the brides face is not revealed.  All we know is, she is a skinny, white chick with soft looking skin.

I guess this gives hope to us all.  If Deadpool can find a partner, so can you!

In an interview with Nerdist, Deadpool co-writer Gerry Duggan states:

[I]n the story arc “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” he learned a lot about himself and why he is the way he is. He doesn’t really have too much of a life. Yes, this is a knee-jerk reaction from a wounded guy to go out there and sort of do something crazy to sort of jump start a life, but there is a real emotional reason for doing it, so I think that will be the part that will resonate. Then the actual gags of the wedding will be fun too, but there is a real grounding to it, and that’s what will make it fun to explore.

As for how long she’ll be around, I’m not 100% sure, because when you get close to Deadpool, that’s maybe when I start to think about adding you in my deadpool.

The cover to the over-sized issue #27 is freakin’ awesome.  It features over 243 characters on it. (244 to be exact. Actually, 245 if you count Ego the Living Planet, whom they are standing on.) I used to want to be a comic artist, but seeing covers as overwhelming as this one makes me grateful art is not my profession.

Will Deadpool’s marriage last longer than Peter and MJ’s?  How long till Wade’s wife is dead?
