Judge Dredd #24 Review

The epic  conclusion of the Death Judges, however, does it do what it needs to? Or does it leave more to be desired? Read on to find out more.

“Black Light District, conclusion”—It’s on! Hang on to your wigs and keys, citizens—here comes the no-holds-barred brawl between Dredd and Judge Death you’ve been waiting for… and this bloody you-know-what match will leave both changed forever!

Okay, so I have been waiting for this arc to end for a very long time because, even though it has been awesome, has been getting JDredd-24-pr-1-49ed7tedious. This was a good issue but there are some moments that I didn’t like. Let’s start with the good. We have an awesome character Judge Dredd, who has been trying to stop the evil in sector one and in the rest of the world but with time lapses, we have to figure out where we are in the story. However, it all ends on a good note with Dredd becoming victorious but there is a twist at the end that you will have to see. The issue that I have with this issue is that it is so quick but no in a good way. It is very boring but quick. You think that there is something big going to happen before the ending but not quite. It is a quick issue that is boring.

Duane Swierczynski does a great job with writing Judge Dredd but this issue was not his strongest issue. It wasn’t as exciting as I was hoping, especially with a great story line.

Nelson Daniel does a great job of creating exciting and interesting environments. They are very vivid and elaborate. It is a great way to look at a comic. Also, the different characters that are shown so brightly are fantastic and very well done.

Judge Dredd #24 has some good moments but, overall, is disappointing.
