Jim Carrey Confirmed for KICK ASS 2?!

Rumors have swirled that Jim Carrey may appear in Kick Ass 2: Balls to the Wall as the character Colonel Stars. Looks fairly likely that this is the case, now that director Jeff Wadlow has tweeted “6 Days til we start shooting… And we officially have our Colonel. Alrighty f’n then!” Of course he doesn’t directly mention Carrey but the use of his catchphrase from Ace Ventura: Pet Detective certainly suggests he got the gig.

There have already been reports to say the Colonel will play a major role in the sequel, in an interview with Deadline Jeff Wadlow said “He helps galvanize the team of misfit super heroes assembled to fight evil,”. It’s great news they’re finally starting shooting. Can’t wait for this film to hit!
