When the bullets start to fly is there enough meat to this particular narrative to hold your attention?  Read on to find out.

The official description from Zenescope:

The hit list grows as more members of the Brown House Bishops fall to a mysterious crew of assassins. But a monkey wrench is thrown into the mix as Rian continues to play with fire. The mesmerizing and fast-paced action/thriller series from Zenescope Entertainment continues!

Hit List 2_CThere’s a lot going on within the confines of this somewhat predictable but always engaging piece of literary fiction.  I found the subtle nuances of the romp  to be very addicting in ways that I honestly did not expect.  From the primary players to the people they’re hunting down, there’s a lot of layers to this action packed journey, all of which are working toward a mutually assured cliffhanger that’s destined to please.

Ralph Tedesco writes the text and the author does a great job making this comic book easily understandable while also crafting an atmosphere that easily brings some events toward some minor moments of fruition.  There are some bumps along the way, as the author sees fit to push and pull each aspect of the script in an effort to build a world where these assassin’s can exist.  It’s a challenge, but nothing strong enough that it hinders the progression of the release.  In the end we’re given something that’s smart, worthwhile with enough innate appeal to easily attract an audience.

The art by Sami Kivelä fits within the confines of the scope of this tale.  The talent is perfectly tailored for this outing, as he steadily builds a consistent vision that easily sells the authenticity of the entire odyssey.  There were a couple instances where the final renditions had some slight variations causing some minor inconsistencies.  But for the most part this did not hinder the exquisite work on display.

Hit List #2 is surely a great addition to a burgeoning property that’s steadily improving with each passing page.  From beginning to end this is without a doubt an entertaining adventure that comes highly recommended.
