Is this new series living up to the awesomeness of the video game? Read on to find out.

As Sarah Palmer fights to get the Arbiter and the Brute Ambassador to safety, Captain Lasky sneaks behind enemy lines to reestablish communications with the UNSC Infinity. Their plans for escape are jeopardized, however, by a turncoat in their midst!”

With a game as innovated and genius as the Halo series, it is hard for any type of media format to adapt a story. I have read a couple books and seen a couple of videos dealing with the Halo series but it hasn’t ever triggered me. This brings me to this series and so far so good. I mean it is only the second issue for the series so I don’t necessarily know how great it will continue to be but for now it great. This second issue does a lot for the story. The first issue was exciting and the second doesn’t change. Now, there is a betrayal in this 22702issue. I mean it really sucks. It’s something that I didn’t see coming and I feel that it is the point and I love it. It isn’t the only thing that happens in this issue but it is the highlight and I love it. Everything flows from panel to panel so elegantly that it works well. Also, the character development in this issue really is starting to feel like you know the people. I really enjoy that aspect of what is going, it seems that we were dropped into this but there is a great character development going on.

The writing is developing very well for this series. I really do think that the people are going to relate more and more during the run of the series. I, personally, think that there is a lot of potential. I do like this issue because of the action packed scenes that are helping developing.

The art matches the writing in this issue. It is something that I have to say works well. The futuristic art style works well especially for a futuristic comic. I am more excited to see how it goes with the development of the story.

Overall, I do believe this gets four out of five. It is almost there but there needs to be a little more.
