Garth Ennis' BATTLEFIELDS returns in NOVEMBER

Are you a fan of anything and everything Garth Ennis writes? If that’s the case I have a news story for you.

While the hit series, The Boys, reaches its final issue with issue #72, writer Garth Ennis returns to his acclaimed Battlefields series one last time with Battlefields #1: The Green Fields Beyond Part 1!!! Make sure to pick Battlefields #1: The Green Fields Beyond Part 1 up this November, written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Carlos Ezquerra, with an amazing cover by Garry Leach! In Battlefields #1: The Green Fields Beyond Part 1, on the killing fields of Korea, the Tankies find themselves back up the sharp end, as veteran Sergeant Stiles is finally given a tank that can take on any opposition. Unfortunately, the Chinese spring offensive of 1951 is on its way- leaving our heroes cut off, on their own and outnumbered ten to one. It’s British steel against massed Communist hordes, as the last Battlefields series begins with a bang.

I have been wanting to write this one for a long, long time, the return of Sergeant Stiles and the Tankies in the third and final run of Battlefields. This is my favorite series, my favorite subject to write about and I couldn’t be happier. And working with Carlos Ezquerra again is the icing on the cake!
