Dinosaurs Attack #4 Review

IDW Publishing Banner

Do you like giant dinosaurs killing all humanity? Then read on.

“Earth continues to take a savage beating from the ever-materializing flesh-hungry dinosaurs!

Reporter Bob Gowen fearlessly defends his Ohio broadcasting station, even as psychiatrist Ambrose Woolly and scientist Helen

Chambers combat the devil within Elias Thorne’s soul or is this preternatural threat much more than that, and much worse? Terror reigns as time begins to run out for the besieged, dino-imperiled human race… !”

Now, I have to say that at first this series seemed silly but as the issues keep coming it is getting better and better. This series is very STK620403.jpg.size-285_maxheight-285_square-trueentertaining and this is issue is very good. So the world is being taken over by dinosaurs, and people on earth and space are trying to defend it. I will try not to ruin this issue but something big is figured out about Elias and a couple of characters dies. Well, actually there are a lot of people that die. My only complaint about the issue is that I feel that it was too short. I understand that this is a comic but I felt some things could have been shortened to expand the story.

The writing is quick and swift. The author gets to the point for the most part. Gary Gerani does an awesome job of continuing the story and developing the relationships between the characters. He has a way of making the energy in each panel come to life. Like I said, the only issue I have is that I felt some things could have been cut down.

The art is very interesting in a good way. George Freeman makes the action in the panels very interesting. The style and the action makes things fun and exciting to watch. The style does well for this particular way.

Overall, I think that this is a fun series to keep an eye on. I give this issue a 4 out of 5.
