DC’s four comic book cancellations

Today DC Comics released their September 2012 Solicitations (you can see them here) and among the plethora of forthcoming releases was the confirmation of three cancellations from their New 52 books.

We reported on Friday that DC had announced via their blog that four new titles would be launching in their New 52 line-up (you can see the article here).  We already knew the Justice League International would be ending with issue #11 due out in August, so that means that three previously ongoing series would sadly be coming to an end.

So there you have it, Captian Atom, Resurrection Man and Voodoo will end their respective runs with their issue #0s in September.

So what do you guys think about these cancellations?  Are you surprised by the titles that are getting the ax?  Did you expect these books to be on the proverbial chopping block?  Personally I am surprised by Resurrection Man getting canceled but I’m not surprised about Captian Atom or Voodoo.
