Joe Casey is one of the industries most popular writers having written for Marvel and DC, from The Uncanny X-Men to Superman, and many more best-selling titles, and most recently created and writes the acclaimed Sex series from Image Comics! Now he is tackling one of Jack Kirby’s greatest creations, Captain Victory! And this story will Blow! Your! Mind! Out of the hell of a cosmic firefight, Captain Victory is launched into an epic adventure that spans both space and time! All your favorites are here — as well as all new enemies to face! Your new favorite cosmic comic book has finally arrived!

Okay so Captain Victory is back! I mean he is back with a vengeance but not without the help of some awesome Victory01-Cov-Fox-9954csidekicks. So the story starts out with a backwards world and makes it clear that this isn’t going to be your normal superhero world. We get introduced to all sorts of new characters, as well as, a new story that is both intriguing and satisfying. I highly recommend this series because the way that this story weaves itself into something both fascinating and intriguing.

The writing is witty, quick paced, and more for something of this magnitude. It is a large comic book universe but you don’t get too lost within it that you can’t figure it out. It is nice. I, also, just love the characters because of them being so neat and unique.

The art for this comic is very nice and works well with the story. It is vibrant, fun, and very detailed which is something that you don’t get with every comic.

Captain Victory is  a great start to a new series and it works.
