Blood Brother #3 Review

BloodBrothers

Are you looking for a good bromance? Then read on.

Official Description:

“As the vernal equinox approaches, a ritual begins which could give one vampire dominion over an army of immortal warriors. Still butting heads because Nick wants to forsake his immortality for the woman he loves, can our two blood-drinking heroes quit bickering long enough to save the world?”

Okay, I have to say that I think a good bromance is something that doesn’t come along very often but when it comes to Blood Brothers, I have to say that it’s pretty epic. This issue is no exception. First off, this issue does a great job of really adding a dynamic to the relationship between Nick and his best friend. There is excitement and fun, and some redemption that really adds the dynamic to their22886 friendship. I have to say that this is really something special.

Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller have to have their own bromance because their writing for this is amazing and so real. I personally enjoy the way things are put so blunt. It makes the characters feel real and likeable. I mean you feel  like these characters have been friends for a thousand years and that’s what they are trying to convey. I mean when your friends for someone that long then you start to get a more intimate relationship and that is shown in this issue.

The art is fantastic. Evan Shaner is amazing. The style of art is actually really popish. It reminds me of something that Andy Warhol would have appreciated and so do I. The way that panel to panel flow together is just perfect. It doesn’t feel like a comic but more like a movie. I think that they should keep up with this artist because he will be someone to watch out for.

Overall, if you want a great comic and a great issue. then get this one. I highly recommend it so I am giving it a 5 out of 5.
