Black Dynamite #2 Review

The awesome series based on the fantastic movie, that made a whole new genre of film continues on but is it any good? Read on to find out.

FROM BAD TO SUPER BAD. Exiled from the Community and on his own-can the most not-to-be-trifled-with man of international ass-kicking survive Guantanamo Bay? You can bet your sweet ass he can! And if The Man is going to force him back into the game then it’s time for BLACK DYNAMITE to show them how its played.

This is a fun series that works fantastically in all the right ways. It seems that this series is just getting better and better. However, I will start STK620400with the bad before I get to the good. The bad seems to be that the issue seems to take itself to try to make a point that just doesn’t work. In other words, it’s like a roller coaster that gets to the top but never gets to over the hill. There is a point but it never quite gets there. Despite this, there are some great stuff going that really works.

The writing for this issue is very good. The portrayal of this character is just awesome. There is humor that rivals, and old 80’s movie but has the seriousness of a great story. I mean you will really understand this when you start to read it but it really does shine with Black Dynamite going to the Bay and kicking ass all over the place. I just think it is very good.

The art is right on par with the story. It adds a whole new dynamic to this, already, awesome comic. The visuals of kung fu fury just splashes off the page and the coloring helps bring that out. You will really enjoy it.

Black Dynamite is a great story with a great art but tries to hard to make a point.
