AMAZING ARIZONA COMIC CON 2014 — Retrospective!

I have to say: I was immensely impressed by this year’s Amazing Arizona Comic Con (January 24th to 26th)!

There was a unique atmosphere that made you feel welcome from the moment you entered its doors. From the sound of crinkling pages to the shuffling eager fan feet there’s a lot to love within these halls. It is one of the few environments where you turn a corner see anime characters and superheroes sharing space in a way that never seems off.

It was a three day excursion into fun as Phoenix welcomed in new and old blood in an environment that got me excited. From watching a marvelous talent (looking at you Brandon Peterson) sketch a picture to seeing Robert Kirkman walk the floor it was a unique atmosphere that only comes about at events like this.

The Phoenix Convention Center fit the mentality of those that filled it, as we were all treated with panels and special events that kept everyone busy. Whether you came for a day, two or three there was something going on the docket that spoke to your interest.

I can’t say this enough: if you haven’t made time to go to a Comic Convention in your neck of the woods that your missing out!
